Published Travel Sketches on Matador Network

Some of my travel sketches from Laos trip got published on Traveler's Notebook of Matador Network.
After crossing the border from Yunnan, China, I arrived in Laos, a country whose poverty is far less apparent than its peoples’ simple purity. I settled myself by the Nam Ou River, seeing a new day unfolding in peace, drinking lao-lao with locals and playing with the kids in the river. After fifteen days’ wandering I believe that if happiness can be learned, Laos must be one of the best places to study. Here are a few sketches from my notebook.

Thank David for editing my words.Click here to read the full article. Now I could post more pieces as well here to share with you.

I'm so happy to have my journal pages published on Matador Network- the biggest independent travel magzine online.

It's sketch+notes from my southwestern trip in May.Read it here. I wish I could have better English writing,I mean, to write like a writer.

Black Kitty in Tangshan

IMG_8874, originally uploaded by rgmu11.

During my holiday in Tangshan, I met a new friend- a poor little cat. I dunno which family it came from but obviously it was thin and hungry. And I found that it liked to eat corn, so continuous feeding it corn made it stay in the garden of my grandparents. Every time I opened the door and came out of the house, it looked at me and started to talk to me with "meow meow".
