Frost

Many eyes are covered by the splendid world

not be able to see the truth

The truth lies in the heart

only if you listen to its rhyme

you could be free

Tree Bark

Bleak wind, visits the hollow wilderness

Whistling an lonely tale

It was recorded on a piece of tree bark

You peeled off remember?

It was a promise on behalf of leaves, stars and squirrels

Beautiful flowers grew on the tree

But it's never told how long it lasts

The next autumn, I was left alone

around the tree where the bark's from

fallen leaves, full of the memory trail

An Old Tree

One night I dreamed of a tree

An old story was revealed

That was hundreds of years ago

A girl heard a constant call from a tree

and came a long way to it

She realised that there was something she needed to see

So she was waiting there under the tree for years and years

until one day a young man travelled here

Then they knew

Exploded

The dark power of Pluto returned
Six years‘ latency blurted out
with the everlasting communication gap between persons
Which is a bridge you are never able to cross
Although there finally came a devastating destroy
It cannot be broken by the explosion

"Sorrow","depression","wronged"...
What name shall I give  to this "thing"?
You carry a lot these years along
But there's just emptiness within,
a heavy emptiness
Swallowing you gradually until
You choked like in a sealed room full of gas

Muddy Tears

No matter how long or short it has been,
No matter how wonderful or awful it has been,
When the time is up,
I have to carry out the last song.

My dear,
No matter I was crying or smiling to say the goodbye,
Please believe that the gratefulness is in my heart
for having danced with you,and
seen the real you.
------------------------------------------------------------
I were never afraid,
to walk between the bright and the dark, the day and the night.
When I slipped,
My strong heart fell into parts

Your tears dropped onto my heart, and became mud
I put them away carefully
So as one day when you want to find us again
between the waves and winds,
between the sands and stones,
You could recognised me
-a bird singing with muddy tears.

Le Dernier

Just take it as if I died, and had never been here.

So Close,So Far

I've been longing for uncertainty

while am swallowed by the endless

Disappear in a watery world

turned into one of the waves

Patted on the cold rock

just for a moment's heart-to-heart closeness

What is worth the attachment in this world?

Yet I take away nothing

but a drop of your tears

Shut My Eyes,All the World Drops Dead

"I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead;
I lift my lids and all is born again.
(I think I made you up inside my head.) "

In A Silent Way

I used up the whole time on gazing you while you were in front me

not to make you remember me

but to let my love released out wantonly

in such a silent way

The Longest Distance

"The longest distance in the world
is not the distance between alive and dead
not the distance between east and west
just I am standing in front of you
yet you do not konw that I love you

The longest distance in the world
is not the distance you konw we love each other
we can not get together
just obviously I am unable to withstand that I miss you
yet I must pretend intentionally that you are not in my heart

The longest distance in the world
is not the distance obviously I am unable to withstand that I miss you
I must pretend intentionally that you are not in my heart
just I exanvate a ditch that can't be strided across for someone who loves you with my cold heart......

The farthest distance in the world
is not the distance between two tress
But the branches cannot depend on each other in wind even they grow from the same root"

At this moment, I'm thinking of Sylvia Plath

Dying is an art, like everything else.

I do it exceptionally well.

I do it so it feels like hell.

I do it so it feels real.

I guess you could say I've a call.

Poem For You

You got a warm and promising future ahead

with the coming of a new life

One I even didn't have a chance to give

After all,

I'm still the same leaf

Lingering in uncertainty and loneliness

Time is a magician

We got all surprises without an ability to guess

You know, I know

I could only bury our story deep

A plan not implemented

A dream never achieved

Although

You are still you, I am still me.

The wander might be beautiful

It just

lacks you

Poem

- Séraphine,2008

So lightly,
I fall
Like a feather
In the pale autumn wind
Exiling myself in rustling

The night

Those Women

The Night

The night falls

The gloom rises

Far into the memories

You heard my vows.

Tears ain't fill the loss

Only grieve all my faults

If, if, of...

I wasn't away that long.

The Underpass

The Underpass

To reach the other side of the road
I have to go through the underpass

Its cloak of darkness extends
With the weak light flashing,
shall I move towards the further blackness

The steps might be in vain
The creeds are crowded out of my brain
No one knows how the drama goes
On the other side of the domain

It makes me so fear
But I can't let the thought disappear
or my heart not being sincere

Any alternative will be a smear
So call me a warrior
with a faith to which I adhere

Let the belief be my spear
Let my blood be the souvenir
to reach the land with a glory win

Illustration for "Annabel Lee"

P1170094a, originally uploaded by rgmu11.

I fell in love with this poem when the first time I came across it. It's a sad and romantic poem telling of a man's everlasting love for his young dead wife. Many of Poe's poems talk about the death of beautiful women. I've done some drafts to illustrate. Here are two finished pieces. I think I need advice and feedback.

Annabel Lee
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of Annabel Lee;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea:
But we loved with a love that was more than love —
I and my Annabel Lee;
With a love that the winged
seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsmen came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a
sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
Went envying her and me —
Yes! — that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we —
Of many far wiser than we —
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever
dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee:

For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling — my darling — my life and my bride,
In her sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.
