Before Sunset

“Just in Time” by Nina Simone

Just in time you've found me just in time
Before you came my time was running low
I was lost the losing dice were tossed
My bridges all were crossed nowhere to go
Now you hear now I know just where I'm going
No more doubt of fear I've found my way
For love came just in time you've found me just in time
And changed my lonely nights that lucky day

A Sunny Day

Yesterday was quite a sunny day after a rainy one the day before, which lightened up the post-hospital life a bit. Not being able to g0 outside to do things has made me down and moody. I walked out of the apartment with the crutches, spent two hours feeling sunshine on a bench in the square just down my apartment.

Published Travel Sketches on Matador Network

Some of my travel sketches from Laos trip got published on Traveler's Notebook of Matador Network.
After crossing the border from Yunnan, China, I arrived in Laos, a country whose poverty is far less apparent than its peoples’ simple purity. I settled myself by the Nam Ou River, seeing a new day unfolding in peace, drinking lao-lao with locals and playing with the kids in the river. After fifteen days’ wandering I believe that if happiness can be learned, Laos must be one of the best places to study. Here are a few sketches from my notebook.

Thank David for editing my words.Click here to read the full article. Now I could post more pieces as well here to share with you.

Sketches in Hospital

Seven days hospital life is enough to experience noisy nights,a hot room, bad air and stinky hair.It is a quite busy bones hospital in this region.I was surprised to see patients lying in the corridor.Gradually,I got used to this environment. The nurses and doctors are very nice there tho.I hired a lady to look after me with 40 yuan/day.She was quite considerate. It was a pity I didn't get to say good-bye to her when I left.

I'm Back

I'm back from travelling in Laos, two weeks earlier than planned because of an accident. My heart still remains in the countrysides there though.

With fruitful memories, I'm in bed now in Kunming, with a foot wrapped.I will try to write something about this trip on my writing blog, but so much is going on my mind currently. It's hard to know where to start to talk about it.I guess I need some time to let my travel mood melted.Yet I'm still on the road right now.The vacantion still gets two weeks to go.My sketches from Laos will come up later.

I’m Here,You’re Not There-4

V is right, when you recall that kinda person. There's no sweetness, but all emptiness.Sweetness lies in surreal world.

I'm in,while you've got out of it.
